Questions donors ask

Giving
Can I choose where my gift goes?
Yes. Give to the general fund and our founder places it where local teachers say the gap is widest this year, or send it to one of the four programs.
Can I give anonymously?
Yes. We still need an email address to send the receipt the tax rules require, but nothing will carry your name.
Why buy supplies in Thailand?
Shipping a sack of rice from Arizona costs more than the rice. Buying it an hour from the school costs less and keeps money in the local community.
Deliveries
Who decides what to buy?
The teachers. Kittinum writes to every head teacher in October and asks what they are short of that they cannot buy this term. We buy against that list in Chiang Mai.
How do I know my gift arrived?
Every delivery is dated, named and photographed at the school. The records are on the Our Projects page, with what each run cost.
When does the van go?
December. A gift before the 10th goes on that van.
Receipts and tax
Is my gift tax deductible?
Wellness for Underserved Nations is a 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable and educational organization. Your receipt arrives by email with our EIN on it.
I lost a receipt.
Sign in to your donor account to download it, or write to vida@wfun.charity and we will send it this week.
Can I get a letter for an employer match?
Yes. Email vida@wfun.charity and Vida will send a letter with our EIN the same week.
